Text of Arnold, written in 1994, was first performed on 17 September of that year in Florence, with a foreword by Mario Luzi, who among other things wrote: "This Vincent Arnone drama seems to me an excellent idea and feared the venerable old man, Tolstoy, in his growing fury burn all Evangelical subjective human resistance, familial, social, at the rate of all his remorse and all the sufferings of others.
